It is very rare to find a set like this and in such great condition. Of the set, this pair of large pair of reverse glass painted panels with Royal crests and the words 'By Appointment to H.M. Queen Alexandra' and the other By Appointment To H.M the King".

The closeset examples we have found are from the famous James Smith & Son Ltd in London, which is an amazin shop in itself and has amazing examples of reverse painted glass.
